Refund Policy
Draft revised September 9, 2026
Pre-launch draft. Refund rules and data-processing disclosures remain incomplete. Do not purchase or submit sensitive material until these policies are finalized.
Status and scope
This is the refund-policy draft for Sunburst Image at sunburstimage.com, an independent GPT Image 2.5 image-generation and reference-editing website. Read it with the Terms of Service.
Paid offers and final commercial refund rules have not been approved for this site. The operator is sunburstimage.com; billing support is [email protected]. Do not purchase while this draft notice remains. It does not establish a refund window, an allowed used-credit amount, a non-refundable category or a processing-fee deduction. Those inherited terms must not be treated as Sunburst Image’s finalized policy.
Generation credits and payment refunds
A generation task can have a credit hold and a later settlement or correction in the credit ledger. A correction to site credits is different from a refund of money paid through Stripe. Check task status, history and credit activity before assuming that a delayed result failed or submitting again.
The intended failure-handling flow reconciles task outcome and credits. It is not a promise that every interruption returns credits immediately or that a payment refund happens automatically. If a task appears charged incorrectly, retain its identifier, submission time and the relevant credit entries so the issue can be reviewed through [email protected].
A successfully returned image can differ from your expectations. Review any final purchase-specific quality and refund conditions before buying. This draft does not remove remedies that apply when a service is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise covered by mandatory consumer law.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases
Before a paid offer is enabled, it must disclose its price, billing interval, renewal behavior, credit allowance, grant timing and expiry, cancellation method and applicable refund terms. Subscription cancellation stops future billing according to the confirmed cancellation details; it does not itself request a refund of an earlier payment.
For an existing subscription, use the billing management option shown in your account, check the effective cancellation date and retain confirmation. Do not assume that deleting an account cancels a subscription. If a billing management option is unavailable, the operator must provide a working alternative before launch.
The final rules for first payments, renewals, top-up packs, unused balances, partial use and promotional credits remain to be set. No credit-to-cash conversion entitlement is created by this draft. An existing purchase remains subject to its valid purchase-time terms and applicable law; this preview does not retroactively make a payment non-refundable.
Request information and processing
Send billing requests to [email protected]. A billing request should identify the account, purchase date, amount and currency, receipt or transaction reference, and a short description of the issue. Never send a full payment-card number, security code, password or API key.
No response deadline, approval guarantee or bank processing time has been established. If a refund is approved, its amount, payment method and effect on the associated credits or subscription must be explained before it is processed. This draft does not authorize an automatic percentage deduction from refunds.
Disputed charges and statutory rights
Keep receipts, cancellation confirmations and relevant correspondence. Nothing here requires you to give up rights to challenge an unauthorized charge with your bank or payment provider, or to contact a consumer-protection authority. Raising a dispute does not, by itself, establish abuse.
Mandatory consumer protections apply where required and prevail over inconsistent policy wording. The operator must review the final refund terms for the markets actually served. This draft does not assume that one country’s cooling-off rules or digital-service exceptions apply to every customer.
Revision and contact
The date above is a draft revision date. Final publication must identify the responsible operator, verified contact, effective date and approved commercial rules. These are launch requirements, not optional support details. The Privacy Policy covers the handling of billing and support records.
